Check for kerning errors in PDF output

        Description

        Recent PDF output from booki.flossmanuals.net contains many kerning errors (see attached screenshot) which are reproduced in the printed copy of the Airtime 2.0 manual from lulu.com. This did not happen in the past, so it may be a stylesheet or font substitution problem.

        The manual http://en.flossmanuals.net/airtime-en-2-0/ should be exported through Booktype 1.5 to diagnose the cause and make sure it is fixed in the current code, as it makes the output look a lot worse than it should.

          It's the same whether viewing in Evince or Acrobat Reader 9 on Ubuntu.

          The screen formatted PDF http://en.flossmanuals.net/_booki/airtime-en-2-0/airtime-en-2-0.pdf does not have this issue. See the third screenshot, for example the kerning of the word 'crisis' in the last line. Could this be an objavi issue?

          This is a kerning support issue with wkhtml2pdf. They are cleaning it up as we speak.

          Actually, reading through this wkhtmltopdf stuff I think we need to upgrade the Objavi OS and wkhtml2pdf
