I just found out about a guy who implemented a checker board sequencer. We have to begin to add such input methods in liq :)

On a more serious level, it would be interesting to integrate OSC to be able to use new interfaces, see for example http://hexler.net/software/touchosc

I just implemented OSC support in liq. You have to enable ocaml-lo in PACKAGES to test it. To use it just use an osc.float as you would have used an interactive float.
