Affects Version/s: 3.6.0 - Beta 4
Fix Version/s: 3.6.0 - RC2
How to reproduce:
1) Get the backup file from a live site (e.g. sourcefabric.org)
2) Upgrade an existing site running Newscoop <= 3.5.3 or restore the backup in a fresh installation with sources from devel branch
3) Set the alias properly and open the frontend
Actual Result: After the upgrading process finishes, you will see the frontend displays well but most of the images are not displayed
Expected Result: The site pages should be displayed exactly as before upgrading
Findings: Looking at the sources of the pages is easy to see the paths are pointing to old "templates" directory. Files (images are there as they are duplicated in "themes" directory") but do not load as the entry for the "templates" directory does not exist anymore in the htaccess file.
For example, this couple lines:
<img src="/templates/2011/_img/sf-logo-34hi.png" alt="Sourcefabric" border="0">
... will remain as they are after upgrading. Path to "templates" should be modified by the corresponding new path under "themes", otherwise those page assets won't be loaded.
