Description

A simple daemon and XML-RPC API would enable developers to write applications to use RDS, especially for items such as SMS dedications, ICQ linking, weather info, etc. In theory, it could also enable the scheduler to send info to RDS; currently only Studio can communicate with RDS.

This simple API would open up usage mainly of the 'public' RDS fields, especially DPS1, DPS2, RT1 and RT2.
